Mentoring Programs

are people who have a combination of knowledge and Canadian business experience and agree to coach a newcomer in the same field on job-search skills and networking.

Connections Ottawa Mentorship Program (COMP)

links volunteer professionals employed at Algonquin College, SCO Health Service and the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group with skilled immigrants in a mentorship relationship.

Mentoring Link

is a program being designed to assist internationally-trained professionals in their quest for knowledge of the Canadian workplace and relevant employment in the St. John's area. Newcomers will be matched with volunteer mentors working in their fields of expertise who would support and guide them as they conduct their job search and prepare to enter the labour market.

The Mentoring Program at Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO)

matches established professional women with newcomer women from the same profession.
